Why is it important to get a colon cancer screening?


Colon cancer is preventable with regular colon cancer screening (colonoscopy).

A screening colonoscopy is recommended for all patients that are age 45 or older, those with history of polyps or colorectal cancer, individuals with a first degree relative with colorectal cancer, individuals that have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and those with Crohn’s should contact their doctor about a screening colonoscopy. Find out more.
