Borland Groover Clinic decision to cease negotiationsNovember 16, 2015
After multiple reasonable proposals and months of unsuccessfully trying to negotiate in good faith with Florida Blue, Borland-Groover Clinic has made the decision to cease negotiations at this time. We hope that all of our patients understand we never received a financially sustainable proposal from Florida Blue. Learn more.
This is not a decision we are taking lightly, as it impacts 40,000 patients in Jacksonville and 100,000 statewide. We want to ensure all parties are informed correctly and prepared to make decisions for their healthcare in 2016.
Borland-Groover Clinic remains dedicated to providing the highest-quality gastroenterology care, as it has done for nearly 70 years. The clinic’s patients will continue to have access to 75 Board Certified physicians, providing state-of-the-art treatment and cutting-edge research.
In addition, Borland-Groover Clinic continues to have a strong relationship with other top insurance providers, including Aetna, AvMed, Cigna, Coventry, Humana and United Healthcare, who understand and value the importance of quality healthcare. We will diligently work to make sure that patients remain the top priority and can continue receiving the quality care they have come to expect.
Sincerely, Dr. Kyle Etzkorn and the entire Borland-Groover Clinic family
