Ali Lankarani, M.D.

Dr. Lankarani joined the Borland-Groover Clinic from the Mayo Clinic where he worked as a clinical instructor and advanced therapeutic gastroenterology fellow. He moved to Jacksonville from Pittsburgh after finishing his training in gastroenterology at the Drexel University- West Penn Allegheny Health System. Dr. Lankarani studied Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University-Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

Dr. Lankarani is a member of the Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Center (ATEC) at the Borland-Groover Clinic and performs endoscopic procedures for accurate diagnosis and treatment of pre-cancerous and early cancers of gastrointestinal tract. In addition, Dr. Lankarani is involved in development of educational material to increase the public awareness about different gastrointestinal-related disorders.
