Anhtung Chau, M.D.

Dr. Anhtung Chau was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and immigrated to Minnesota in 1993.  He attended the University of Minnesota and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Doctorate in Medicine.  Upon graduation, Dr. Chau completed a residency in internal medicine and worked as a hospitalist gaining valuable experience, knowledge, and patient skills.  He returned to the University of Minnesota for further training in a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship, and specializes in inflammatory bowel disease and general Hepatology.  In his spare time, Dr. Chau enjoys playing soccer, jet skiing, and water sports with his wife, Dr. Jessica Bahari-Kashani, a radiation oncologist.  Dr. Chau shares information on colon cancer screening and our annual 5K March to Get Screened for Colon Cancer Research and a cure in a First Coast Living interview.
