Augusto Lopez-Torres, M.D.

Dr. Lopez Torres has been in practice since 1975. He is a medical school graduate of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru.

In the past, he served as the president of the medical staff of JFK Hospital in Atlantis Florida, and as Chief of Gastroenterology at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida. After founding South Florida Gastroenterology Associates he joined the Borland-Groover Clinic in 2008, in Delray Beach, Florida, in 2012, he was appointed Affiliate Assistant Professor of Medicine by the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Lopez-Torres is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, member of the Palm Beach Medical Society and the Florida Gastroenterology Society. He has licensure in Florida, New York and California.
