Peter Grubel, M.D.

Peter Grubel, M.D.

Dr. Grubel received his medical degree from University of Ulm, Germany. He completed his residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center Boston and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology / Hepatology at New England Medical Center, Tufts University, in Boston. He is trained in ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). He has extensive experience in sonography and was awarded a PhD in ultrasonography in Germany.

Dr. Grubel has a longstanding interest in therapeutic endoscopy, GI malignancies and pancreatic disorders. He developed the EUS referral center at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Grubel has authored numerous publications, abstracts, book chapters and has presented at multiple international meetings on a variety of topics. He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Grubel has been named as one of “America’s Top Physicians” in the April, 2010 edition of “Guide to America’s Top Physicians” published by The Consumers’ Research Council of America.
