Dr. Harmon has been an active member at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida as Past Chairman, Nutrition Advisory Committee, Credentials Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics; and at Memorial Medical Center as Past Chief of Section of Gastroenterology, Medical Board Member; and Credentials Committee. Dr. Harmon completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr. Harmon serves as the medical director for the Jacksonville Centers for Endoscopy.  In addition, Alan is an active member of our clinical research group, serving as a chief investigator on numerous clinical trials investigating new therapies in the treatment of digestive disorders.
